More particularly, the method involves the transformation of a plant cell with a Transformation Cassette which is targeted to plant plastids and which comprises a selection gene, for example isopentenyl transferase (IPT), and a transgene.(2) The present invention relates to a method for detecting misfolded alpha-synuclein (α-syn) in a biological sample. The invention further relates to a kit of parts for detecting misfolded α-syn species in a biological sample.
